The Nike Air Foamposite One was released in 1997 and designed by Eric Avar. The process of creating the Foamposite One is unique. Polyurethane liquid is heated up to 175 degrees Fahrenheit and poured into molds. Also, the pair features a polyurethane midsole and a full-length Air Zoom unit. Worn by Penny Hardaway, one of the original colorways to release was the ‘Royal’ pair. Since the late 90s, Nike Sportswear has continued to launch new color schemes, but the popularity of the shoe has fell-off as of late.
